Muscatine Schools is hiring for Substitute Paraeducators and Aides. Substitutes can work as Substitute Building Aides or Substitute Special Education Aides. The Substitute will work on an as-needed basis, filling in for an employee's absence. Building Aides provide general education supervision and support while Special Education Aides provide supervision and support to special education students and classrooms. The overall objective of a Para is to assist the classroom teacher in helping students to increase and improve their academic and behavioral goals and social skills. 

A Substitute Special Education Aide position pays $10.80/hour

A Substitute Building Aide position pays $10.30/hour

All employees of Muscatine Schools are required to complete a background check and onboarding paperwork with the Human Resources Department.
